Azure SQL + Azure OpenAI Service + Microsoft Fabric Lab 10:15 AM – 11:45 AM Build an AI-powered FAQ assistant using Azure SQL Database vector search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with Azure OpenAI Service. Use GitHub Copilot to speed T-SQL, mirror data into Microsoft Fabric (OneLake) for analytics, apply governance with Microsoft Purview, and orchestrate the workflow with Microsoft Foundry Agents. By the end of this lab, you will be able to: - Build a Retrieval-Augmented Generation workflow over enterprise data using Azure SQL Database vector search and Azure OpenAI Service - Mirror operational data into Microsoft Fabric OneLake for analytics and downstream AI workflows - Apply governance with Microsoft Purview and orchestrate the end-to-end experience with Microsoft Foundry Agents
GitHub Copilot Lab 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM Requires your own paid GitHub Copilot account. This lab is hands-on with GitHub Copilot in your own editor, so you must bring a GitHub account with an active paid Copilot subscription. Accounts are not provided in the room, and you will not be able to work through the lab without one. Seating is limited to 30 people and is first come, first served — arrive early to get a seat.
