Ian Schraier

Ian is a passionate IT pro with over 25 years of experience in the field As a lead resource for his employer in matters of infrastructure, virtualization and cloud services, Ian uses his position as a Principal Architect to scope & review IT implementation projects of all sizes. He created Help My IT Career as a way to give back to the IT community that has supported his own career success. Ian advises clients in the IT industry on matters of job searching, skill development, resume creation, interviewing and other career concerns. His presentation topics include "traditional" soft-skills and career guidance subjects, with a supportive, understanding mindset. He earned a B.S. in Speech Communication from Bradley University, a graduate certificate in Project Management from Missouri State University, and a Masters Degree in IT Management from Western Governors University. He lives in the St. Louis area with his wife and their three cats.
