From Cloud Architect to Agentic Architect: Upgrade to an AI Tools Stack

Cloud architects are still drowning in glue work and context switches, even with GitHub Copilot in the toolbelt. In this 300-level session, I show how I rebuilt my daily workflow using tools you already have: Git, GitHub, VS Code, a small bundle of CLIs, and GitHub Copilot (or a few others). We run repo-scoped labs that generate diagrams, IaC, scripts, and pull requests using Copilot Chat and Agent Mode, then inspect how each pattern burns tokens and affects cost. You leave with a repeatable lab template, opinionated Copilot prompts for architects, and a practical way to explain guardrails to your own teams.
