If your Twitter/X feed hasn't been flooded since Jan 2023 with ChatGPT and LLM "experts", you aren't living. But how many people truly use it in enterprise software development? Sure, you turn over a rock you'll find an expert, but where is it actually being used, how is it being used, is it a fad like FroYo or is it here to stay like microservices? The truth is somewhere between those extremes. I put together a list of the places actually leveraging GPT/LLM, how they're using it, why they're using it, to help guide us on how much of our limited TikTok attention span we need to spend thinking about how we can use it at our respective gigs.
